I must say, while I'm not an aggressive GTI driver, I've never seen any of the clutch behavior described in that link.

I was just curious. I would think if you were to take any restiction out of the line to get more feel out of the clutch it would be worth while

thanks for posting that. I'll be trying this in January when my car goes under the knife for mods. I find that if I'm making a quick off the line start sometimes my clutch release doesn't exactly match my foot movement. I installed a pedal spacer which helped a little bit but I am thinking this orifice is delaying the release and I'm giving it throttle too soon expecting the clutch to release with my foot. Will post back in a couple weeks with my results.

Maybe doing this and adding a pedal box would be something to really change the feel as far as input

great mod, will try it on my GTI at some point.

I can identify with what the OP on the other thread was talking about. I'm quite a good standard driver and do get back shifts and couldn't figure out why.
