Thank you augie dog; sorry for the delay...hadn't been in this link for awhile. I will definitely check that out. I retired a few months ago. Now commute to DC for work. A cheaper top off than Moore County would be awesome! I pass right by the place I think you are talking about on Hwy 1.

Just picked up my first TDI on Saturday - 2010 Jetta TDI CUP

I'm in the area too. They used to have a VW gathering on Sundays at the gander mtn off skibo in fayettnam. I'm dying to do more mods but want other stuff first unfortunately. I'd be interested in the GTG. Post up the dates. Send invites.
There's an app called "Gas Buddy" that'll get your current location n give you diesel prices all over. Added feature is you can help update or confirm the price if you sign up. I need more people posting! I have 2 TDIs but I fill up everywhere. Out Reilly gate on the left there's a Hess that usually has the best prices nearest post.

I'm in Sanford (Carolina Lakes), work near Lumber Bridge and can usually be found fueling up at the Shell just north of Spring Lake. I had a '12 Jetta TDI Sedan and now have a TR JSW TDI, plate is DZL VW. I'm not one for modding or GTGs anymore, but if you see me, give me a wave.
Head a couple miles further south! There's a kangaroo that always has the cheapest diesel in the area. It always has people pumping. Check out the app "gas buddy" it gives you prices of diesel close to you.
Yea I'm not huge into the hang outs. If I do go it's because I'm passing by n had time. I like getting ideas n seeing what others are doing.

I found a White one. It was up in the Maryland area. There is/was a Black one at a dealership in the Raleigh area but I checked it out and its wasn't all that nice. No Thunder bunny kit, no longer had the Stock wheels, Etc..
Also anyone have any experience doing the DSG service? I'm looking into tackling it. Saw the You tube video and everything seems straight forward. Just the need the software to complete the service.
