This Jetta has 146,000 Miles. 5 speed manual. Electric seats, sunroof, 6 CD player. This car i bought in 2013. I asked the dealer then to look for a good 06' Jetta for me. He found this one. It hasn't been driven in winter since i've owned it in N. Wisconsin. Timing belt, and water pump was changed when i bought it at 113,000 miles. Last 2 years it hasn't left the storage. I've started it up at least every month and let it warm up. As i have 4 VW's total. 3 jetta's and a Golf. So i really need to sell. Other vehicles are older. The engine and drive train is absolutely excellent. And the body is close to it. No dents or scratches, or nicks. Only visible blister is around rear license plate. VW dealer services the car when i was driving it seasonal, which is basically only a oil change and checked over. I bought it from the dealer as it had a deer hit front fender. I looked over the damage and it was only to front fender, no damage to frame or anything movable. When i bought it the title said it was "previously SaIvaged vehicle" and i assumed that would be off the title once vehicle was inspected and repaired. But its still on there after i registered it. I'm hoping it doesn't hurt the value. Next: i've always made my own windshield washer fluid. I took it out of storage last week, checked the fluids, and washer fluid was low {empty} so i went to fill it and it all ran out. So that tells me the fluid froze and cracked the fluid tank. I regret mixing my own but fluid was getting expensive. I haven't been able to get at fixing/changing it. Next: since its been in storage the air condition lost its charge, so it needs to be charged. Next: the drivers leather seat backrest has a tear/rip about 2 inches long. Was there when i bought it. I took this out of storage to sell. Paying $700 a year storage i need to quit doing. I've stored it every winter since i've owned it. So i need to sell. I paid close to 15k for it then because fuel prices were rising and the unknown was upon us. The car is in same condition as i bought it. It runs and drives beautiful. VW dealer said he would not ask anything under 10k because he hasn't seen a 06' in as good condition as this. I won't leave it on his lot so everyone can take it out and do who knows what with it. Because the dealer is 65 miles away and i can't be there to monitor it. I'm going to try and post pics here. Please feel free if any more info needed on the car. Thank you all for reading.
Note: i have no idea how to load pics. I will post this then when i read how i will try to get pics on here. It's Silver in color.

Not trying to rain on your parade, but:

1. Is this a troll posting?
2. No structure in the post, it sounds like a rant.
3. No use of paragraphs, also you do not seem to understand the proper use of "I".
4. Making your own windshield fluid because it's expensive? I thought it's about $2-$3 for a gallon at the gas station. One gallon lasts me months.
5. Asking $7,500 for a car with salvage title that also has no working AC, and who knows what other problems since you have not really been driving it for the past 2 years?
6. The car is at the mileage ballpark where the average owner will encounter some pretty expensive repairs: camshaft, DMF, and potentially sagging headliner, just to name a few. Also, the CV axle booth covers are more than likely toasted by now from sitting in the storage that long.
7. It also appears to me that you got scammed when you paid "almost 15K" for a salvage 06 back in 2013. I bought my 06 Jetta TDI in 2012 from the dealership (120k miles, special edition, clean title, no rust, mechanically sound) for only $10,000.

1 No Troll. I did not know a wanna be English professor was going to grade my post.
2 Windshield fluid was 5.00 a gallon here. I feel so terrible for using more fluid than you. 🤣 I'll try to use less.
3 The AC works great, just needs to be charged.
4 Who knows what other problems it has? But you seem to know? If you're not to busy, by Friday could you send me the Mega Million winning numbers?
5 It appears to you i got scammed? refer to #4.🤣
6 There is absolutely NOTHING else wrong with the car. You paid 10k for yours in 2012? Post a picture what it looks like now, and when i get help on how to put my pics on here we can compare.
7 You're not very thorough in your rant. As you forgot to mention the tear in the seat.🤣 Maybe you could edit your post and enter it? Then it would be prefect!
8 Last but not least, there is nothing "likely toasted" on this car from sitting in the storage. The underneath is showroom condition. I have an appointment to get the AC charged next week and i will change the price to $8000.00. I will change the washer fluid container myself.🙂

1. Impressive improvement in your sentence structure.
2. Still disappointed that you continue to use i instead of I.
3. You have better chances at winning the Mega Million than selling a 17 year old car with a salvage title and issues for $8k.
4. Pictures of my 06, since you asked for them:

It doesn't have a "salvage title",...It has a previously salvaged title from a deer collision. Title says It is rebuilt. On a side note, i think its sold after i charge the AC . I put the lower case i, just for you.:ROFLMAO:

"Salvage" or "Rebuilt" are generally understood as "this car previously sustained enough damage to be totalled out by insurance", which with inflated repair costs, could mean anything.

GLWS, regardless.
