For Sale is the original "jettawreck" 2001 Jetta TDI 5 speed manual. I've owned it since 2004 and 33k miles. Only 187k miles. I bought it as a salvage title vehicle project after it had been in a rollover. Some extensive bodywork, painting, front fender\hood replacement as well as dash and steering wheel airbag replacement was done over several months before applying for an inspection from the state on MN.
It was driven for many years commuting to\from work. Have all maintenance and fuel records since. The body is in rough shape from cheap aftermarket fenders and the bodywork. Running gear, chassis and interior are quite good.
Windshield is cracked and tires need replacement. Timing belt near due on miles. Runs and drives and is reliable, just not very good looking any more. Drive it home if you wish. Will start in any weather with the working ZeroStart coolant heater. CAT fuel filter system. 52 mpg lifetime average. Extra set of OEM wheels w\o tires mounted.
Selling mainly as a swap\parts car. Convert a gas chassis into a TDI (I did this to the 2003 I still have) or use the low mile engine\transmission to replace that slush box automatic if it's still working.
It's not on CL or Marketplace. Hoping a TDI forum member can make some use out it.
$1500 OBO. I'm not easily insulted. Reply via posting or PM and\or we can exchange phone numbers or email.
