Fliud dmapr questions

I dont know if this is the right place for this thread but its for a tuning purpuse.
Does this fluiddampr fit our TDI engines? http://www.performancebyie.com/fluidampr-crank-pulley-for-late-1-8t-engines

It doesn't fit
Even if it did it is not the right damper for your engine either
Since you have removed the Balance shafts you should use the older style damper from the PD130 for example

Yes i was thinking the spec. was maybe wrong but it was a guy localy that had one for sale cheap.

We'll I know it fits the Alh crank and I have been using one for years with 0 issues.

Ok! What kind of difference did you notice?

i called them and asked if it would work with a 1.9L TDI and the guy basically said, "yeah it should" i did not get a "warm fuzzy" from the conversation, and certainly not enough to drop $400+ on a pulley
