I just ordered my can and some worm clamps. I have the hose in my garage, a heat gun to heat it up, I'll make up a bracket for the battery slot.

Going to just connect the CCV puck to the can, can back into the intake. Seems pretty easy to me. Will rid myself of that garbage connection at the CCV as well. If it still leaks vapor, I'm going to delete the CCV all together and figure out something else for the valve cover grommet.

What hose do you think i should try next?

I'm just going to use the hose that was originally suggested in this thread, the one you quoted a couple posts back from. It's braid reinforced PVC tubing. Clear stuff with the nylon reinforced webbing (crosshatch)

I guess I'll go ahead and post mine here as well, got it done in about 30 minutes once I had all the parts (really all that time was making the bracket/heating the hose ends up).

For the puck delete, I just used a irrigation 3/4" barbed 90. The end that I inserted into the grommet I cut all but the last barb off so it would sink down in there a bit further. I put a ziptie around it for now just to hold it, I'll switch to a worm gear clamp eventually.

Hoses cross because the baffled element in the catch can is closest to the firewall.

How is your set-up holding up? More importantly how much oil is the catch can collecting?

So we've now got a small club of CatchCanners. Anybody else notice any benefits yet?
I pull a couple ozs of oil when I check my oil, infrequent, mebbe 3-4k? Turbo is decidlely smoother,
car only smokes if I punch it too low in the rev range. No more puff at WOT above 2krpm.
We need a poll.

Holding up great no issues. Haven't checked since I installed it though. The car has never collected much oil even in the intercooler with the Italian tune. Maybe I'll pull it off this weekend and check when I install my new diff cover on the truck

The other benefit is it solved all my leaks with the terrible connections are with the egr/recirculation garbage is. Even with new pucks, hoses, and fittings they would never seal properly and would leak onto the valve cover. No more of that.
