Nice car! I have one as well, although it has nice upgrades and a rare color the way the Tdi market is these days your likely not going to be able to get nearly 6500

Thanks! I know the TDI market is soft. What started all this is I had someone contact me asking if I was interested in selling (that person hasn't gotten back to me). I mulled the idea for a few days and decided if someone will give me near $6500 (my actual number is below that) I would sell it. Otherwise, I have maintained this car with every single intent to keep intent to forever. However, everyone has their price...

Thank you everyone for the kind words, it truly is a very nice car in person.

TDIs never sell well in Winter. Not sure why, but they don't. I'd keep it until April and re-list. Nice MKIV cars are hard to find, and there are those of us who will pay a premium for a nice one because we know how good they are. And yours is nice, no question.

I wanted mine gone, took rock bottom prices and sold them both this past month.
It seems to me that we TDI owners invest these cars with more than just money and it is that intangible worth {to us} that makes us hold out rather than sell.
Sure, parted out they are worth more; been there done that , still doing that.
In the end, because I know my cars were in decent condition when sold, they will be back on the road eating up the miles and as important, worth more than when they were sitting, slowly wasting away, parked in my driveway.
If you want to really sell your car now, pick your true lowball and it will go:)

I've had some questions about the pinch welds, interior and drivers side fender rust. I updated post 3 with pics of those, sorry for the poor quality.

It's a non smoker car and the gentleman I bought it off of wasn't a smoker either. The pinch welds aren't really that bad but none-the-less they are dented and I felt it needed to be noted. Any questions, feel free to ask...

Clean car. I'd pay 5k for it if I was in the market. That's above book. If you want to sell it, you may have to flex on that price a little bit.
