What did you not like about the dss-r .360 nozzles ? I'm might be stuck pushing 500+hp worth of fuel through a .360 nozzle using a 13mm P3000 plunger.I see that ebay has cheap .360's,Gibonta and DSS-r have .360's too.I've talked with Gibonta and researched the Cummins 5.9 stuff and figure that a .360 should be big enough for my goals and provide better atomization.I've ran 5x.017" 5.9 (6bt) nozzles in the past however now want the correct "VE" nozzle orientation and spray angle.Do I pass on the Gibonta with DLC coating and go with the DSS-r?
Any insight that you and others have would be greatly appreciated!
Dont waste your money on Gibonta, just go to AliExpress, type DSLA150P502 and you will find same Nozzles with DLC for much better price. In my project I use 0.330 Nozzles and get 380hp and still have little space for more fuel with them using rotary 11mm plunger.

You guys are in a level far beyond where I ever wanna go with a fwd platform . However, I’ll say my WMC nozzles are doing really good after about 1500 miles. Still balanced right according VCDS. Time will tell but I suspect they will be fine for the length of a quality timing belt change
I got mine on eBay Uk from some guys in Poland I dreemed trustable. Pop tested and all was less than 300. You can get PD150 TIP’s for 60$ all day too. nearly the same kit dark side charges 300$ fo then just go to the breakers and get a ve6 box and MAF If needed. The PD150 intakes are cheap too but now Malone sayintbthe brm is better. Rant rant rant it’s 2020! Crazy happy holidays !

the spray pattern was horrible, sputtering out streams from a few of the holes no matter how hard I pumped the pop tester
only one of the set of 4 that they sent me was even decent
I've actually been thinking about going the other direction and using the 7mm 12v nozzles just to get a quality nozzle in a larger size, even though the nozzle orientation in the head is (10 or 15 I forget) degrees off. Figured I'd get the 145 degree cone ones to make up a little of the difference.

I have the gibonta.460 in my golf from darkside. Sent the bodies to them for mounting and pop testing. If I ever finish the wiring on it I’ll post on how they do.

spray angle is very important, I would check into getting vw nozzles edm honed before I got Cummins nozzles.
My experience with China nozzles, on bench really good popping and spray pattern, all nozzles had same opening pressure, all nozzles had small leak to injector body.
Ordered 2 sets off .240 nozzles
Set 1:
After 1000km unburnt fuel smell on exhaust but I didn't have time to deal with it... After 15K km one nozzle starts to fail. All nozzles was black/burned needle tips and one was badly failing (stuck needle) on bench, three of them was worn needle like there's has been water in diesel.
Set 2:
After 500km on nozzle starts to fail on idling and unburned fuel smell, I will give feedback when I replace them.
With same brand my friend has used .240 nozzles over 25k km with no problem.

I´ve tested 2 sets of them, i also have 2 sets of these on shelf for half price if needed, and can also adjust pressures for bodies with them.
I'm running some aliexpress "oomyapoo .30mm" p502s with a de110/12mm pump and it is basically running clean at 45 psi from an he351w atop a td04hl5cm. Even with 15 psi of lift pump at the injection pump inlet.
Bet those .330s are a lot bigger than the ".30mm"
SOME chinese performance nozzles works fine on the bench, spray angle is also OK, fuel economy is also fine after setting both openning pressures.
BUT! they don't flow enough fuel after 3000+ rpm.
Tested many times and it is true.
Polish WZM 0,260 are way better, for example this WZM 0,260 flow same amount of fuel as chinese 0,280 or 0,290 after 3000+rpm.

Andy2: I think that 0.360 or even 0.460 is right size for you. We normally get best results with 0.320 - 0.360 but we are limited to 11mm pump size. You have enough pump for those bigger ones.
Gibonta 0.320 can do 380bhp with 11mm pump. We have also some better dyno sheet but those are with HFLO-X 0.341 nozzles.

You forgot to mention what turbo was used in that setup. For some gtb2260vk based hybrid it's very good result. Jukums has GT3067S and guys in Finland have S200V hybrids, S300V's or 2-stage turbos.

there are maybe two or three VP37 nozzle manufacturers in china, and one nozzle types work, other maybe not...
Once I get two different batch in one set from one supplier...
I did a small comparison test year ago with china dlc 0.260 and FB PP764 (0.232). Both injectors were set to same opening pressures 220/310bar and i have just swapped them to same setup engine.
Result was that the torqe was the same, but the PP764 pull better to redline.
And this wasn't last test.
Problem is that serious nozzles for VP37 stops at 0,33mm (firad +160) and from my point of view they are too expensive.
Bigger ones are available only from china.

Thanks for the posts. Seems like i am good to go with getting some wuzetem nozzels for my Mtdi. I am running a set of junkyard mk4 110hp injectors now, they sprayed fine and were within 2-5 bar of each other. but the car smells like crap, still good mileage though 24.2 km/l at one point
