Did a dyno today with and without the evry mod. It shows a 10 hp increase and a 43 ft-lb increase. The runs are in this order: 1. without evry 2. with 3. with 4. without

The only other mods is a mufflerectomy

I don't know why the results are coming out so high on an otherwise stock engine. There was a total of 8 runs, the first four without an optical pickup for rpm and the last four with. The posted image is of the four runs with an optical pickup, but the first four gave similar results.

acctually you are both right kind of.

i installed PP764's today, but the dyno is a baseline i.e. before installation.

I also thought the numbers were high but the guy swears the dyno is calibrated correctly. The correction factor is 1.09 and is applied in the graph. I don't know why the numbers are high. The nozzles i took out were stamped "702" from germany, does this mean anything?

The numbers are high because of the 9% correction factor. Also evry mod and PP764s will give you very VERY high EGT's.

Yeah, i don't activate the evry now that i have the nozzles. No need to.

The 9% correction factor still only brings the power down to 105hp and the torque to 173 ft-lbs. I am only planning to use the data in a relative sense, like i did with the evry. My next dyno will show the gains from the nozzle upgrade.

I posted this dyno to show the gains for the evry. I think it's a valid 10hp gain as they were done back to back.

Local dyno guy that I talked to said to use a 16% correction factor... Take that with a grain of salt...
one place around here uses 17% to make it the same as what dyno dynamics says for thier machine.

Rub87, do a quick search to find out the details of the Evry mod. It's a trick to increase the pulse width of the injection pump plunger signal. $5 mod.

it's prety cool to do for a stock engine, but as was stated, it will skyrocket your egt's with any onther fueling mods.

Oww

I did try to search but the search function isn't my best friend it seems..

I got 143hp with that mod with 110 hp injectors, gt1749v @ 1.2 bar.. (with very little soot and ultra spoolup)..

I drove 30.000 km's with it, I always drove it hard once the engine was hot..

Turbo seems in perfect shape, no shaft play, nothing wrong with the vnt mechanism, I was also running without maf, so with a diode in place, this makes it more agresive to the pedal but gave a little soot when flooring it below 2000rpm..

I also had the egr removed and intake cleaned..
