Everyone seen the diesel bike?

idi: 1988 Bolens DGT1700H, the other oil burner: 1967 Saab Sonett II two stroke
All those Smarts with Hayabusa engines in them have left a glut of 3 pot diesel M-B engines and an equal number of bare bike frames.
Someone's just putting the left-overs together....

LOL! That's a riot. I have to wonder if the 3-pot from the Smart might fit in a 'busa's frame...

Woah, I just saw that they were $25,000. That's actually a pretty good price for a bike like that. I would think that longevity/usefulness of the bike and the motor would compete with some of the nicer dual-sport BMW bikes.

It definitely looks heavy, but in a good way. It looks like a bike I would want to take on a Key West to Alaska Iron Butt competition. :)
