ESP BUTTON

Hi All,

I have a 2006 MK5 golf TDI 1.9 PD105

I’m currently fighting an issue with my ESP, I press the button… nothing, I hold the button… nothing.
When I turn on the ignition ESP does not even light up on the dash, I’ve done some of my own tests, spinning up round corners, wheel spinning off, no light shows up on the dash and nothing changes before or after pressing the ESP button.

Any Ideas? TIA

OBD works, start there. Maybe someone put an ESP button in on a car that doesn't have it?

So I don't have a user manual bought the car on offer up. What is the especially exactly? Can't find much on the web.

Perhaps the ESP fuse is burnt?

Do you also have an airbag error in the instrument panel?
