Just bought my daughter 2014 Jetta tdi yesterday and went to start this morning and battery drained. Appears she left a dome light on all night so put my jumper on it and started ok but now the esp and tire sensor lights are on and unable to find anything on the web about this issue. I checked tire pressure and all good and won't reset. Anybody else experience this??

Reset the pressure light.
The button for mine was in the glove compartment.
Top left iIrc.
Might need VCDS or a scanner to reset the esp light.

I appreciate the help. Yes my daughters car has the reset in glove box and thought it was broke. It turned out to be the battery was old - so replaced and problen solved.

When the battery gets swapped (power interruption) the console throws the TPM, Engine, and Traction Control alerts which need to be cleared but do not require VCDS. The ESP is reset by turning the wheels right/left several times as far as you can to recalibrate - while stopped of course
