Erratic speedometer

I have recently noticed that my speedo has a little "tick". It's very obvious when I am climbing a 2 mile, 6% grade on the way home every day.,The speedo seems to bounce just a bit. Does anyone else have this tick/bounce?? It isn't a huge deal, just curious.

Does it happen at any speed, or only at one particular speed?

i had similar issue and dealer replaced "instrument cluster" under 36k warranty, does not bounce anymore. here is the link of old thread.

Brad95: thanks for the link. I searched on psd1's behalf, remembering a thread about this problem, but didn't look deeply enough.

Perhaps a moderator could correct your original thread title to read: "Bumpy speedometer needle" or "twitchy speedometer needle".
