Engine Wiring Info

Hi, I hope this is posted in the right place. I've recently bought a PD130 engine, and looking for diagrams and general info on how to install this in a non-pd car.
The 'search' function is not working, so i was hoping someone could point me in the right direction?

Do you want wiring diagrams for a non-PD car? What engine code? Here are the diagrams for an (early, I think) ALH TDI. Base 90hp.

Thanks, yeah thats great, though it'd be even better to see a PD wiring diagram to see what differences there are. What program are those screenshots from?
The aim is to find out what differences there are between a pd wiring loom and a non-pd wiring loom, and if any of the non-pd loom can still be used with a pd engine installed!
I don't ask for much!

Ah I see!

These diagrams were found in the ETKA program I have at home (I'm at work now), which many VW dealerships use. A member on this site has a link (in his signature) for downloading the ETKA. I can't find it because this site's search engine is temporarily down.

I'll see if I can find PD wiring diagrams when I get home. My ETKA lists parts for 2003 or older models though. Only the 2004 or newer models has PDs, at least here in North America.

Aidan, what engine code and for which car?

It is a pd 130, 2001 engine. I havn't bought a car for it yet! My first choice would be an early mk4 golf, around 1998. It is the mk4 golf i would like info on, but anything would be more than welcome.

The idea is, if a standard mk4 golf tdi would need minimal loom changes (wishful thinking!) then i'd get one of them, if the whole loom needs to be changed i'd go for any VAG car, probably a Polo or Seat Ibiza
