Hi all,
I live in Belgium and I recently got a beautiful 2016 Passat variant (station wagon) B8 with 240 hp BiTDI engine.
In 2027 laws on emissions are going to be even more restricted so my EURO 6 emission car will no longer be allowed in any major big town like Brussels, Antwerp.... (you get a 300$ fine when you accidently drive into town...)

So prices for (powerful) older diesel cars are falling like crazy. Such a waste! :-(
You can now buy a big diesel V8 like an Audi 4x4 with low mileage from 2016-2017-2018 for just a fraction of what they cost new just a few years ago...

How is this in the US?

No such thing here. Not many diesel SUV's or cars being sold anymore. Trucks only, which are plentiful and not regulated to the extent that less heavy vehicles are. The (usually faulty) assumption is that these trucks are being used for work.
