First thanks a lot for all of this. I'm not too good with small electronics to build the converter. I wonder if we could use a EGT sensor that has 0-5v already?

At the moment, my car run on WTK input for EGT and it work fine. Because it's an EDC15 optional value, all other measures are maintained...
But WTK doesn't limit IQ, and that was the aim....OTF does...
.
Yes you can change it to use W-T-F. I have water temp limit for iq and to limit rpm when cold.

A bit down we find that there is an "alternate calculation" of OTF from ***, which I use for my limiter.

Hi, Rob....
I guess you can, if your EGT converter can handle more than 15mA.....that's why John use an OPA350.

Are you talking about W/T/F or W/T/K?

Of course, W/T/F limit can be use as you suggest, but i don't think W/T/K can be.....it's an optional T°, that can be wirred in PIN 97/89.

Oh i see, Didn't realize there was a different one, I thought you put wtk because w/t/f gets blocked here, lol.

Is the converter going to be for sale? I would like to buy one and do this.
If i can't use the w tf for limiting when engine is cold, I guess limit by egt super low?

Yes W/T/F and WTK are different....

Sorry Rob, let me know exactly what you're trying to do, or what you're looking for, and i'll try to help you....
It's easy to limit with coolant T°, as well as Oil T° if you've got the sensor....for sure.
EDC15 can limit with speed car too....and activate a launch control....

Sorry, I explained it wrong.
I already have limit fueling by coolant T.

I would like to add the EGT limiter, but would that remove the ability to limit by coolant, as there is one map??

No, you keep your limit as it is (coolant), and you use WTK to get EGT, or OTF if you need an EGT limit....

Limits which can limit IQ, had there own limit.....1 for OTF, 1 for W/T/F, 1 for .....
