EGR part numbers interchangeable

I have a 2005.5 Jetta. The take off hesitates and then kicks in and i found that it was a worn EGR valve. My part number on the valve is 03G131502B. I found a used on but its part number is 03L131501F. They look and bolt on exactly the same. Does anyone know if this will work and is just a newer part number?

The 'B' suffix 03G part IS the updated part number. The 03L prefix is for the CBEA engine for 2009 only. So it is not the same part, but I could not tell you what specifically is different about it other than the BRM EGR valve part number is still good and does not change to the CBEA part.
