Hi all , just joined, had a 2007 golf 1.9 tdi dsg since new , great car reliable did 33000kms, never let me down, just service it and the basics. Traded for 2011 Passat 2.0tdi dsg cfgb engine. I have been doing a lot of research on a Egr delete . So going for a quick and easy method. Egr blanking plate (only one required on the cfgb engine) and a vcds (Ross-tech hex-v2) soft ware delete . So I have 2 questions ,has anyone done this with no problems?( Same cfgb engine) . Do I need to remap the ecu for fuel/air Ratio ? I have contacted a couple of diesel dyno work shops
