East GTA Diesel Deal - Shell $1.259/L

Just discovered that the Shell at Whites Road and Kingston Road (Hwy 2) in Pickering has 5 cents off a litre with an Air Miles card. Apparently its been going for 6 months now.

Today Diesel was $1.29 a litre with the 5c discount.

Gas was $1.30 a litre with the discount.

I saw diesel for 129.9 at Shell on Bovaird in Brampton today...IF they had a 5c discount...

now down to 1.309 less 5 cents = $1.259

Probably the best deal out there, the only other one that can top it is petro canada (2c off if you have the mastercard and another 5c if you get the card) but considering not everyone has that mastercard/points to get the card, this is probably the cheapest in the GTA

If you couple this with a credit card that gives 2% cash back it get better

That is a sweet deal, I saw a MAC's in the Oshawa area that had the same price, but air miles is pretty sweet . Do you/anybody know from who MAC's gets their diesel (Not that it matters but I'm curious)

hmm I filled up there about a month ago and i don't recall if i got this dicount..i paid inside and have airmiles.

i never look at the reciepts anymore.

I stop at the Speedway station every time I go by Marysville Road on the 401. They have good turn over and full serve which know how to vent our cars.

Many stations further down , but most have above ground tanks. *sgudder *

Yes. Just filled up this morning. V-power was $1.359. Got the 5 cent discount bringing the price down to $1.309. Regular was $1.299 before discount.

Lately I've started to fill up at Global Gabby's Express just east of the Port Union/401 east exit.

They usually have the cheapest gas/diesel prices in my area. Yesterday morning the diesel was 124.9 and I filled up in the evening at 127.9 (as the price was revised during the day). It has high volume due to all the trucks in the area filling up there, so has fresh diesel always. They have two pumps, one with the regular nozzle and one with the big nozzle for trucks.

The operator claims that the same diesel is being supplied at the Shell station just west of the Port Union/401 east exit. Plus I've been getting my best tanks with this station's diesel - 5.1-5.2L/100kms

I stopped caring... I just fill with Petro-Canada wherever because of my Mastercard that saves 2 cents a liter and because of points... I get a free car wash every month, if not two.

This fall I'll be driving to the Soo, then Thunder Bay and from there across to BC. From BC south.
I'm mentally preparing me for about $ 1.50 per liter. Fortunately even with my slushbox I can get 58 Mpg Imperial. I think that may be about 5 L/h?

Sadly the Shell at Whites and Hwy 2 is closed for renovations

So no 5 cents a litre discount.

However, the Shell at Port Union and 401 is offering a 3 cents a litre discount with your air miles card. Not as great.

Or Kingston's Pump has diesel at $1.169 a litre.

If You are close to the Border You shop in WA and fill-up there too.....
Otherwise you just have less money for those other things!!!! Drive less and do not use the Credit Card that much. We moved from Alberta and for us it is cheaper here!

I'm in the GTA and notice that not only diesel prices but gas prices are routinely cheaper or goes 'on sale' more often in the west end (Etobicoke) than the east end (Scarborough).

Sucks cuz I live in the middle and it's not convenient or economical to go out of my way.

So just wondering if anyone knows of cheap diesel near mid town Toronto.

Not midtown, but Weston just south of the 401 has pretty cheap diesel at the Shell.
