DVD Player change?

I'm looking at changing my RNS510 factory setting to allow me to play DVDs while in motion. I know there is the download that must be burned to a CD and installed that will change the "5" value to "255" somewhere on the forum, but do any of you know if it's possible with VCDS?

You have the RNS310 though, correct? In any case, how did you accomplish changing the firmware setting?

I have the RNS-510. I burned the firmware from the link above from Chitty and works fine. now I have been playing concerts and videos all the time..

Another thing, which method of "starting" the CD did you use? Holding down the three buttons or just inserting the CD?

I did hold the 3 buttons..and insert the disc.. Follow the instructions on the scream and voila !

Physic, I can mail you the cd but you will have to mail it back to me...It will work on your rns510. I have mailed to another member and works fine with his TDI SEL at first try...
