So recently I got a VW Touran 1.6 TDI with this problematic DQ200 transmission which is known for a lot of issues.
I drove the car and came upon 2 problems.
First, the car shifts really slow to 3rd gear, as if it was a standard automatic transmission vehicle. It happens on both less and more throttle, the RPMs drop really slowly and it's really annoying me, since the rest of the shifts are nice and snappy.
Second, I noticed sometimes when it's about to upshift the revs go a bit higher right before the upshift, almost like clutch slip, but never had that before though.
The oil in the gearbox was not changed since last 60k kilometers, so I guess it's time to change it although I'm not quite sure if it will make a diferrence. The car has 230000km on the dash but the previous owner changed a gearbox at 150k due to mechatronis fail since it was under warranty. Anyone experienced the same? Any ideas would be appreciated.
