DSG Transmission issue

After a DSG transmission fluid change on my 2017 Alltrack the shifting into 1st gear started acting up. When I initially start the car cold it revs at 1000rpm and shifts into 1st gear smoothly when I take my foot off the brake. Once it warms up it revs at 800rpm (as it should) but when I take my foot off the brake and move it to the accelerator the car hesitates and lurches as the transmission finds 1st gear with a clunk. The rpms start to increase to about 1100-1200 and then quickly drop to under 1000 once it is in gear and then increase as normal. Shifting into other gears seems fine. My mechanic checked the DSG fluid level and tried to recalibrate, but issue is still there.

I know some folks do adaptation after the fluid change, but I have yet to find the clear direction on how to do this on these newer DSGs, I believe yours is 0D9 transmission code

There are just too many to list....
The newer 6sp transverse DSG is designated 0D9, but it should use the same fluid as the 02E we're familiar with. It's the 7sp transverse DSG, the 0GC, that I believe uses a different fluid.

At any rate, given VAG's multiple automatic transmission suppliers, and the myriad of fluids they require, I would still want to for sure verify the correct fluid was used. Lots of dealers even sell the wrong stuff.

also wouldnt hurt to know how the "mechanic checked the fluid level"

so to summarize everything here we need to know:
1. Who did the DSG fluid change and what fluid was used.
2. How many liters of fluid was put in.
3. How did the mechanic check the level.
It seems to me like you have incorrect level of fluid in there

Running the engine (while fluid is up to temp) then pulling the overflow plug is key to check level.

Without the engine running you could be 1/2 qt low.

Some more sensitive than I swear by only using OEM branded fluid, not some other manufacture fluid that meets spec. In all the DSG services I've done I've just used the cheapest IDparts has on hand in their kits. Fluid level plays way more a factor than brand of spec fluid.
