DSG problems

They have had my car since 6-27 and are telling me they want to replace the mechatronics unit but it is backordered, none in the U.S. So I am stuck driving their loaner, which is ok, but its not my car. If this lasts much longer I'm going to remove the giant "courtesy vehicle" decal on the rear window.

Know how you feel bmike. Went thru 3 or 4 dsgs on my jetta.(lost count )

At least the dealer was great.They only had it less than a week each time. Slickest,Smoothest little tranny out there when they're right (WHEN).

Not one hick-up with my A3 so far. 25k

If the dealer told you the MU is backordered, call Audi and raise hell. This backorder seems to vary from dealer to dealer.

Knock on wood, I'm at 28,500 miles and it's all good. The only thing was my high pressure diesel pump gave out, just got my car back about 5 days ago. Audi of Downtown Los Angeles fixed it with out any fuss, warranty is a life saver.

Saw your post, sorry for the duplicate information. I got my car back today, after almost 3 weeks. Replaced the mechatron, I wonder how much that is? It seems to be shifting better, no clunking anymore.

The invoice to replace the MU in my Jetta was $1954.79. VW picked up the tab.
