What is your engine load ("LOD" on ScanGauge II) in two conditions:

1. Engine idling while transmission is in "N" Neutral
2. Engine idling while transmission is in gear (D or S)

The engine must be fully warmed up. A cold engine may report slightly higher load %. The vehicle must not be moving for #2.

My engine load in N is 17-18% and the engine load idling in D or S is 20%. I do notice that idling in N is smoother. I notice that some MKV DSGs vibrate more than others. I am just curious as to know what other people's load % values look like.

I just sent my scan gauge in for warranty service (the backlight quit working). I will check out the engine loading as soon as I get it back.

My load change is similar, I'll grab specifics later.

Edit: Today it was 22% in N and 24% in D...

Bill- I was curious about that same thing some time ago... the scangauge gph numbers only go to the tenth though, so it was .2 in N and D :)

You might want to check fuel usage under the same conditions.
Gallons/hour fuel flow (*.**) would be useful to know.
