DSG on Canadian Passat

Has any Canuck out there tried to build a Passat on the VW Canada website.
I can't seem to get a DSG transmission as an option. Is it me or the website. New member...1st post so be gentle.

I don't live in Canada, but the DSG is the only automatic mated to the TDI and VR6 engines in the NA B7 Passat. There is nothing to pick on these engines unless you want a manual (which isn't available VR6) The 2.5 only gets a standard automatic (or 5 speed manual).

I did notice on the vw.ca page you have to scroll the engine list to the right to see the DSG combinations.

I have DSG in my TDI and it's worth every penny. Get it if you can.

i drove a DSG this weekend. I am a huge fan of the manual tranny but if i were to have an automatic, the DSG is a big step up from a traditional auto IMO. Seamless, lightening fast shifts, downshifts automatically, just a real pleasure to drive.

TDI DSG Highline Sport

I love the DSG but I'm fairly sure I would have been completely happy with the stick even though I haven't driven a stick for 15 years theres something about the car that seems to be asking why didn't you put the 6 speed in me.
