DSG Noises

Does anybody occasionally notice a slight click (not quite a clunk) sound when slowing down as the downshifts into 1st gear. Once once in a while I get this sound. Normal?

Does anybody occasionally notice a slight click (not quite a clunk) sound when slowing down as the downshifts into 1st gear. Once once in a while I get this sound. Normal?

The DSG I have on my R32 never down shifts into 1st while moving. Only down to 2nd then when I come to a stop it drops into 1st. Are you manually downshifting into 1st while moving? I'd not recommend going into first while moving, just as one shouldn't when driving a manual.

I never had aany noises from my DSG.

I think the sound is the mounts as the drivetrain rocks slightly, or backlash in the gears, or something else minor like that. I know what you are talking about, and I think it's normal.
