Hey guys just curious if anyone has any idea on where I can get a downpipe for my 97 tdi either OEM or aftermarket is fine, just whoever owned it before me did a hell of a job ruining the exhaust they cut the CAT out and tried to weld some pipe in and who knows how long ago it was but it’s rusted to hell and already been attempted to be repaired once. It’s beyond repair now and the exhaust leak is real bad. Since it’s so far up not only is it loud but the exhaust gets into the engine bay and sucked directly into the cabin from the fan. Other suggestions welcomed, whether a complete exhaust is in order, or something else. The shop I took it to said none of the local distributors have any compatible exhaust parts available so I’d have to source everything myself. Oh also I forgot to mention they essentially straight piped it back to the muffler so they deleted the resonator too.
