Door locks.

Sometime dont know when, I lock my doors I cant get back in. I dont have a remote key. If I lock my door manually with the key from the outside when I go to unlock it , it wont unlock. My right rear passenger door never locks so I open that to get in. Now if car is not locked only the drivers and rear passenger door open. Freaking me out man. Logic tells me I cant store guns or valuables inside or I may experience remorse . Anyone have a starting point ?
