Hey everyone,

I am having a weird issue. Most likely, this will be a dealer CPO fix. Adding to the forum here and will update if/when it's fixed.

Car Description:
2012 JSW, 6MT
Added: RCD330 Head Unit w/ Backup camera. Programmed w/ OBDeleven

Issue Description:
Door lock does not work most of the time.
Door unlock always works.
After plugging the OBDeleven adapter into the diagnostic port and keying on, the Door Lock works for one power cycle, or for a brief period of time.
When door lock is working, key fob and all door lock switches work.
When door lock is not working, key fob and all door lock switches do not work.
Door locks stop working shortly thereafter and never resume working.

Question:
Has anyone had an issue like this before?

Theory:
I'm guessing it's some ECU fault (internal or reported, not sure yet).

Battery issue? Re synchronize keys? Owners manual will explain how to synchronize them. My daughters VW did this recently, the syncro job fixed it, the battery was low and needed replacement leading to similar issues as you have stated//// Just some troubleshooting questions there.

We had similar issue in our 2010 and it ended up being the rear right passenger door module had fried.
