Door chime...

Hi all. Can anyone tell me the steps (if it's possible) with vagcom to disable the door chime for a 2002 golf?
I have the annoying door module problem and don't have time to fix it for a few weeks.

No. That vehicle is not diagnostically capable of a modification like that.

Fixing the latch is the best bet.

You have problem with microswitch in your door latch.
You have 2 ways to do.
First one is replace door latch $$$$
Or do $3 aftermarket micro switch.
Search on 101 "how to" and you will find $3 micro switch fix.

Thanks. I already know about the microswitch and have done it before on my gf's golf. I just wanted a fast temp fix until I have time to do it. I have to drive to drive 4 hrs a day to work the next 4 days and am going to go crazy listening to it.

I thought someone said if I switch to setting to UK settings or something, it doesn't have a chime.
