dome light probs

my 06 Jetta door switch has to be good, as the floor lights and door ding work.

what does not work is the overhead lights. none of them, just floor lights. best i can tell the fuse is good, not sure how much i can trust online fuse diagrams.

i pulled the bulbs to replace them, and they looked good, but i replaced anyway, still no overhead lights, no matter switch position.

any advice would be appreciated, as i have to get help doing almost anything right now due to hand surgery.

found out more info. not sure if the horn is related, but it also doesnt work.

found vag com cable, and have central conv codes:
00059 - terminal 30 for interior lighting
012 - electrical fault in circuit
00906 - horn (H1)
009 - open or short to ground

if this means anything to anyone please advise. thanks

Off the top of my head, I once had terminal 30 open in my 06 and it caused a lot of electrical gremlins. I found out it was the relay. Check each relay individually and see if at least the horn comes back.

thanks. i actually found (after much searching) an accurate fusebox diagram, and came to the same conclusion. I ordered a couple relays, hopefully replacing that will fix my problem. then onward to the start up error messages, lol.

So, I ordered a couple relays. No luck. None of the feed lines have a blown fuse to the box under the hood. Still no horn, and no dome lights.

Any one have any idea what fuses may be related to this relay? This is a dumb problem, but one that drives me crazy. I hate getting into a dark car at night, or trying to get something out of my car and not being able to see it.
