Does the stock injector nozzles have externally visible markings for size?

I'd like to find out if I have automatic injectors installed in my manual transmission 01' Beetle. Does the stock injector nozzle have markings?

To answer exactly what you asked, yes - the nozzles do have external markings (of the nozzle itself).
Unfortunately, to see those "external" markings, you have to remove them "cap" of the injector body.

(To answer what you probably meant, though, no - can't tell just be looking at the injector as it comes out of the engine.)

Thanks! I was hoping I didn't have to remove the nut, but I might do that for one injector.

I bought used injectors from an automatic and I know I could see something on the side even when it was still assembled. Like '706' IIRC.

I want to answer the question if my underpower issue is that I have automatic injectors in this car.

if you saw 706 on the nozzle, then that would be stock manual transmission nozzles. But the only way to really know the nozzle size is to pull the injector, remove the nut, and hopefully see some markings on the nozzle itself.
