I own a new body style TDI Jetta. I have noticed that I'm picking up lots of dings right below the doors. It is where the the body goes rough - right before it ends. Is anyone else experiencing this?

I've got a few on my NB. I'll be buying some plastic mud guards one of these days. They look goofy, but they certainly beat scratched paint as a fashion statement. It seems like the entire state of Utah is under construction at the present time. Did you know the the State Flower of Utah is the Rock Chip? And the State Tree is the Construction Barricade.

What I thought were two major "dings" below the doors turned out to be the "markers" for the jacking points. The are mechanical indentations in the rocker panels.
