Difficulty shifting into fifth gear

Here's my problem. About once a week while attempting to shift into fifth gear under normal acceleration, the shifter will not go all the way into its proper position. But if I maintain normal pressure towards fifth gear on the knob while releasing the clutch, something releases and lets the shifter go all the way into its proper position.

Any ideas?

I am pressing the clutch in all the way in and there is no grinding when this happens. I haven't driven too many manuals in my life but this transmission seems way to notchy in all gears. Let alone this problem with 5th. Thanks.

I have had this too, about once a week it just doesn't want to go into 5th, as i let the clutch up it eventually falls in.

Im bring it to dealer. Also for a weird noise i hear on start up and before its fully warmed up. Ill let you know what happens
