Awesome thanks
I am considering these but I live I Canada and winter would not be fun lol
And the roads here are s#!t and I alrdy smash frame and oil pan so.... I may do just for when at a show and raise it back to compensate
I believe I'm currently at 23 3/4 -24 inch haven't measure since i installed
And with my 3 inch side exit exhaust makes for a scraping good time lol
The nice thing about these bushings is that you can adjust the coilovers up to have more travel with the suspension and keep the same ride height.

lilred, measure the center of the wheel hub to the fender. I wouldn't drive my car as low as it is with rough roads. The new roads in Nevada are really smooth, so I am not too worried about it now! :D

I live in vegas... Lots of road construction and thick warped trench plates everywhere. My car is stock height and I feel too low sometimes! Welcome to Vegas.

PS nice ride.

i drove up and down Avalon boulevard and over speedbumps in my neighborhood for 30K miles at 22.75 fender to ground static with no skidplate. my oilpan lived about 1 inch from death, (the hybrid sits nearly an inch higher than that). Avalon has been a construction zone for around 3 years now. i think youll be just fine, and if you decide you have too much trouble just spin it up a bit...

You have balls!

I'm at just under 22.5" right now with the fenders rolled and it's downright brutal at times. The bottom of my subframe has bends and massive amounts of rash. That's with a skidplate to boot lol

I want to go lower, and my axle is doing a great job of self-notching the frame.

yeah my subframe has seem its share of earth...

id suggest getting the frame notched and a piece of pipe welded in to at least cap it off from the elements. also keep in mind that when the axle hits the frame it put stress on the cv's that it is not designed to handle (shear rather than twisting or tinsel stresses) that being said the TDI cv's seem to hold up quite well to the extreme angles.

22.5 is ungodly low
actually anything 23 or less imho
you sir have balls

Finally!

Thanks to Josh, I was able to fix my door lock module!

He sent me one that he took apart and fixed all the contacts in it!

All better now!

Hi!

Can you please sum up your cam-discoveries? I see you are now doing +50 mpg, and I assume there is a connection there somewere. But I cannot seem to find it!

Cam hasn't done much honestly for mileage. The tune did it all, I was doing 50 mpg tanks with the RC Race tune, 52 mpg with the TDTuning.

The best way for mileage is getting air in and out as easy as possible. That's what I've always kept in mind. That's why my car has some decent power and mileage. :)

I think it's entirely possible the cam did do something, but the previous tuning strategy didn't take advantage of the change in profile. Either way, we will never know since going back to a stock cam for comparison isn't in the budget.

I'm more curious if I'll ever get to ride in this beast again, or maybe drive it again!

How close is your Scangauge to a figure calculated off your odometer? In any case you are getting stellar mileage. My last tank ran 43. something but my driving style tends to a heavy foot. Are these figures from long highway miles? Also, I believe that a number of both Colt & Frank06 customers are reporting a bump in mileage. I't hard to really know & each case is a little different. I'm thankful that my stock cam is holding up well. Blackstone says they are impressed with how well it's wearing & to keep running this oil. 21,000 & counting. I still want to try an after market profile. I'll look at what's available at timing belt time.
