Low fuel prices are killing the Canadian economy
Are you sure about that?Low fuel prices are killing the Canadian economy
Here in my little town in BC gas is 97.9 and diesel is 123.9. That is a BIG gap.In Ontario, gas is around $.92/L and diesel is around $1.03. A difference of 11 cents per litre versus 26 cents per litre in the US.
$500US cost me $642 at the bank today. I don't think i'm getting that kind of return on fuel savings.
Any change in price that "hurts" the government is good for the people. It's hurting the Government that's for sure. Huge amounts of lost revenue. When the Government isn't happy, sooner or later the little people will feel the effects too.
Here's to my wishful dreaming...The oil sands will not die off. Sooner or later the Middle Eastern oil reserves will deplete and the needs for crude will keep the sands going.
some guy in the pricing rooms at Esso read this threadWhat the hell happened overnight?
Diesel shot up $0.10 per liter
