+4 cents effective from today due to carbon tax...
Thats a dirty April fools joke. Kicking myself for not filling my slip tank last week, 1.62 is the cheapest I've seen in a while.

My wife was showing me some clowns last night on social who were getting fuel and live streaming that no one should buy fuel this week to "show the government" that we won't stand for this....

$3.99 per gallon in the Shenandoah valley of Virginia. I have Canadian cousins so I enjoy following your diesel price.

144.9 at Wolf Energy. Regular was 145.9, been a while since diesel was lower. Also lower than last week, despite the carbon tax increase.

Only 8 fill-ups for 2024, so a very small sampling size...
7152 km driven, total fuel used 368 liters, cost for fuel $588.
That results in fuel economy of 5.14 l/100kms and fuel cost to drive 100km of $8.22
Diesel average price (at the time of my fill-ups) for 2024 has decreased to 159.7 cents per liter, compared to 171.1 cents per liter, in 2023.
Gasoline average price (at the time of fill-up) for 2024 has actually increased to 151.0 cents per liter, compared to 149.7 in 2023.
Most fill-ups in Eastern Ontario.

I like tracking the fuel I use. Here my 2024 fuel up prices trend.
Below is my total fuel ups to date on my 2003 TDI. This is missing the first 6 years of fuel ups because I didn't own a smart phone until about 2009 and likely the Fuelly app didn't exist. If I extrapolate out I think my overall fuel costs would be around $36K.

I haven't looked around yet, but a local station jacked the diesel price to 1.75 today.

149.9 on the reserve today. Diesel price usually peaks in January, it was 158.9 this time last year and 170.9 in January 2023.
