Hey, I am rather new to this world of tdis and am wondering what kind of diesel additive I should use if I should even use an additive.
I have a bew if that helps.

There is no requirement to use any of them. Using a winter formula when it is cold is a great use case. Other times of the year not so much. More of a personal choice thing. Find a quality fuel that works for you both in economy and good running and stick with that. QT here has rather good fuel. Lots and lots of posts already here to read on this subject. I have tried some of the name brands with no real results, outside of cold weather formulas.

There is the persistent fact that European diesel is of a higher quality than North American diesel fuel.
A basic Cetane booster is popular. There are inexpensive every tank diesel additives that some people swear by (me) and there is also a significant group that point to lack of evidence that an additive is necessary.
I also take a multi-vitamin every day but my doctor says a balanced diet is enough.

I sometimes add something in warmer months. But you must use anti-gel additive during very cold weather.
