Did anyone get the chase e-mail today?

Turned in car yesterday (12/21) at 4PM Central time. Today (12/22) I received the Chase payment email at 7:30PM Central time. This appears to be very similar timing to what others are experiencing so I expect to see the funds in my account tomorrow.

Turned my car in yesterday evening. Received the VW receipt email before the appointment ended. Got the Chase email about 24 hours later. Expect the payment to land in the bank account Tuesday because of the xmas holiday.

My buyback is tomorrow at 1pm. I know I will have to be patient with the holiday waiting on my Chase email. For those with experience with the buyback, do you think I should expect it on Monday or Tuesday?

You may see it by the end of the day, but more likely it will be Tuesday -- Monday is a bank holiday.

Turned in car (early lease termination) on Wednesday at 4:00 pm. Received email from Chase confirming payment from VW on Thursday at 8:30 pm. Can't complain about that.

Returned car Wed at about 3:15PM, got Chase mail Thursday (sent 6:28PM), logged into Chase payment site and set up xfer to my account (also with Chase) at about 6:50. Money as in the account this morning as of 4AM. All times MST.

Checked my bank account this morning (12/23) and the money had already been transferred from Chase.

I posted something in another thread - basically I called the claims hotline and demanded to speak to a supervisor. Supervisor put me on hold after I explained situation and then told me that it would be resolved in 24 hours. A few hours after that, I got the email from Chase.

So to help provide more timeline data...

Turned in Car on 12/21 at 1:30 PM ET
Received Buyback Receipt while sitting at the dealer
Chase Email on 12/22 at 8:30 PM ET
Money in account the next day.

In perusing the forums, it appears that most people are getting their Chase emails right around 8:30 PM ET (*but* adjust for your timezone - so 5:30 PT, 6:30 MT, 7:30 CT).

Since I had a midweek buyback, that meant the next business day was the next day.

Obviously, YMMV, but right as I was about to panic about not getting the email, it dawned on me to check the timezones of previous posters. And sure enough, all of them seemed to come, after adjusting for timezone, around 8:30 ET. Then the clock hit 8:30 and *boom* Chase email.

I'm all done - finished up the deal on a 17 Highlander Limited today. Will miss the Jetta. Wife already hates the Mazda 3 rental we're in until pickup from our Toyota dealer next week... "the acceleration is all wrong!"

Same here - 12/21 1:00pm turned it in, got the email before the guy even had chance to tell me it was done, 12/22 8:28pm email from Chase, then this morning 12/23 at 4:24am I got an email about the direct deposit (I bank with Chase and get email alerts about pretty much everything).

It's supposed to be 3 business days.

I've already been waiting 5 business days and have spent over an hour on the phone in each of the last 3 days with absolutely everyone and there's no chase email in sight.

Everyone keeps saying they don't know anything regardless of how many supervisors or managers I ask to speak with. You better hope that email arrives or you are going to have a stressful few days/weeks/months ahead. This is by far the biggest **** show I've seen when considering we are dealing with a billion dollar company.

Also did my buyback 12/21 and had the chase email in 24 hrs and the payment in 48 hrs. Try to be patient. There seems to be a variance in systems efficiency. Plus today and Monday will effectively be bank holidays. Easy for me to say. But the fact is that you have plenty of documentation of what VW owes you and when. It'll work out.

Maybe there can be another class action for them holding payment past the agreed time. If they do that with hundreds of people they rake in big bucks in interest. I have to wait till Tuesday to call. I will then also email the class action lawyers and settlement court.

I'd give Chase payments a call at 855-267-0428. Edit: I just called to see what times they're open, but it says to call back "during normal business hours", whatever they may be.

i also concerned about them not paying the loan off in time. I have a payment coming up. I kept the insurance going . I loose money from my settlement every day. Money VW won't give me back. I waited and believed it would be all going right but now the only thing I have is a email receipt that says VW " paid " you $ x amount. I am feeling like Clark Griswold and a jelly of the month membership lol.

Chase Payments = 855.267.0428 (from e-mail from them). If you call claims number, answer will be "Someone will call you back within 3 days." I wouldn't wait given the holidays...

I called the above listed number, and all I get is a garbled, unintelligible message, then it hangs up.

Pretty much identical to Bronxtale.

I turned my car in on Friday, December 23rd at 10:30 am. Smooth process. Probably took all of 30 minutes. Would have went quicker, but the specialist fussed with getting the license place off for like 10 minutes. Apparently his bit was too small, but he was bound to make it work.

Received my Chase EFT email at 8:26 pm on Monday December 26th.

Is there a problem with gmail ? I read that some times sender will be auto blocked by gmail.Anyone with gmail on this forum that received the chase email in there gmail inbox?

checked my blocked messages filter in gmail and years ago I blocked chase. I deleted the filter and swoop the email showed up. Maybe my error can be a lesson to someone else. Check your filters in gmail if anything is blocked that has to do with chase you will not get the email.
