Two questions:It's been two business days. Monday and now Tuesday.
I noticed that ppl who turned in their cars on Saturday already got paid.
This wait is making me really nervous! I wish I just got a check
Yes, good advice!Two questions:
If not, then there may have been a glitch in your transaction.
- Did you get e-mail confirmation from VWGoA immediately after rep completed transaction at appointment?
- Does the portal show that your claim has been completed?
Yes to both. Got the email while at the dealership. They both say complete. I guess I will wait one more day and call on Thursday. Two questions:

Chase Payments = 855.267.0428 (from e-mail from them). If you call claims number, answer will be "Someone will call you back within 3 days." I wouldn't wait given the holidays...Yes to both. Is there a phone # to call chase about it or just call the claims number? I heard there's a different number somwhere
According to the FTC settlement document (Document 2104, page 35), they only have 3 days maximum:I called both the chase # and the claims dept. The lady at chase said that they haven't received anything from VW yet.
The guy at VW claims told me that it can take anywhere from 3-5 business days to receive the e-mail. When I told him how people turning in the car two days after me are receiving the email he said that its a "lottery" on how things are processed.
It seemed obvious he had no information on it at all. Hopefully I get it today!

I'm entirely satisfied with the process now. I'm still at ground zero on my Jetta trying to get documents in.This email is to confirm that you recently requested a direct deposit for your payment into your bank account ending in XXXX.
If you have transferred to a Chase account before 8pm ET, the funds will be deposited into your account at the start of the next business day. For non-Chase accounts, it may take up to 2-3 business days. Any acceptance after 8pm ET will require an extra business day of processing.

Glad to know I'm not the only person with this problem. It's been 72 hours (approx.) since I turned in my car. No email from Chase yet. I did get a receipt email saying the transaction has been completed. Probably need to call Chase to see what the issue is.
Timeline is one business day for e-mail with 3-days total for EFT to occur -- they are blowing smoke! (Partial Stipulated Order For Permanent Injunction and Monetary Judgment, As Approved by the United States District Court, page 35)Chase said that they have not received anything from VW regarding my payment, and that the ball was in VW's court, so to speak. Strange.
Spoke with Charmain (sp?) at the VW Claims line. She said to allow for at least 3-5 business days before getting an email from Chase. We shall see!
Woke up this morning to a deposit in my account from "VOLKSWAGEN OF AM". From EFT details to deposit was about 14 hours. Using USAA.I arrived at the dealer yesterday at about 3:10 PM. I got the receipt email at 3:24PM, and got the email from Chase today at 6:27 PM. Immediately after putting in my bank details, I got this email:

They both told me the exact same thing. Today is the 4th business day for me since I turned my car in on Friday.Chase said that they have not received anything from VW regarding my payment, and that the ball was in VW's court, so to speak. Strange.

I asked the VW claims rep about that. She said as long as the EFT is sent out within 3 business days the timing of the email from Chase is irrelevant. She was insistent that the "24 hour email" rule was nonsense. Well, I'm at business day 3 and nothing. Chase doesn't have me in their system so clearly the problem is on VW's end.Timeline is one business day for e-mail with 3-days total for EFT to occur -- they are blowing smoke! For Eligible Owners who elect a Buyback, upon receipt of the title to the Eligible Vehicle by Defendant or a Volkswagen Dealer (or other entity authorized by Defendant) and the surrender of the Eligible Vehicle to a Volkswagen Dealer (or other entity authorized by Defendant), (i) an EFT shall be submitted within 3 banking days or (ii) a check shall be provided immediately at the time of the Buyback. Money was there this morning.Got the receipt yesterday at 3:57pm. Got the Chase email tonight about 6:28pm. Logged in to the Chase thing and had my data entered at 7:08pm (I was out and about when the email came).
All in all it has worked well for me. I suspect to morrow or the next day the money will be in the account.
