2010 JSW w/6 MT. 54k miles.

Driving home yesterday. Car starting stuttering followed by flashing GP light and CEL.

I have a maestro interface for my pioneer receiver which has OBD monitoring. EGT sensor showed 0F during this event. The other OBD values were normal. A restart 20 minutes later while idling and everything was normal again.

Any idea what caused this? It seems the flashing GP, CEL and EGT are all related. am going to get it scanned with VCDS next week to find codes but some of you may have dealt with this before.

Most likely the EGT Sensor 1 off the turbo.
Thank you! I have another question

This sensor reads 600-700F during normal driving and 1100F+ during a Regen. Could it be a different sensor?

Might be or might just be the sensor sporadically reading wrong. What are the fault code that pops up when you scan it? That will tell you right off the bat. I just know that once the first EGT sensor fails, it triggers the CEL/GP.
