I just wanted to know how many people are on here from Fort Collins and Denver. I live in Fort Collins, I know there is at least 1 other from here. I travel to Vail every weekend. Any one up there?

There are many others around the front range . Diesels sell well in the thin air up here .

Hi all,

I live in Shawnee & work in Denver. Does anyone have a Vagcom that can scan my airbag code? I had the turbo replaced and since then the airbag light has been on. I think something was bumped, etc. and set the light off. I tried Autozone, but they can't reset it with their tool.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Air bag control unit can't be reset , sorry .

I had mine on in my old GTI. I just had the dealer fix it, they said it happens if you disconnect both the negative and the positive terminal. I can't do it now but I will take a look at what is required, send me a PM and we can see if we can meet up.

Howdy all, Live 7 miles east of downtown, and work downtown. I'm thinking about a GTG here sometime this spring. Had one up in southpark last fall, only 3 of us went up there. What's everybodies thoughts on one here in Denver/Fort Collins area?

Just bought a new '05 Jetta Wagon TDI from Huerberger (sp?) VW in the Springs. It was the only place I could find a manual transmission. Anybody have any experience with this dealer? Would love to compare notes.

Hi,
I live in Longmont, work in Golden.
As of now I need another new mechanic, does anyone have any recommendations?
I just had the timing belt replaced & when I picked up the car they told me that 'someone" had left a red rag in the engine & it got tangled up in the idler pulley & some pieces are left in the alternator.
I don't know what to do; for starters, I don't know which of the shops I went to left it there. So I am tempted to ignore the issue & find someone I can trust to do future work on my car.
Any help would be appreciated!

Since you work in Golden... Wolfsburg in north Boudler does a lot of TDI work. Mark did the tb on my B4 Jan '04. iirc... $350 or so. Also did the EGR for me, although since then I've got vag com and learned how to do a lot of this stuff myself.
