A fairly high number of ALH TDIs have salvage titles. Almost any fender bender reported by you or by the other driver will result in the insurance company declaring your car as totaled. It does not matter how well it runs after you fix it, or even if it doesn't need fixing.

Agreed, I just say that because I specifically asked if it was a salvage title & was told no. As I said, water under the bridge. ;)
