I'm in the Midwest so I'm not sure how long it'll take. I'm hoping it won't be quite that long haha. I'd like to have halfway decent weather to do this delete in...

I have not yet received mine, but this could be due to my recent move. I'm currently in process of trying to figure out where the package is even at...

I got some information from Darkside today that makes this a bit easier to tell what's going on. Definitely racking up the price now.... Can anyone attest to the difficulty or sound of a gutted DPF?

Not try hi-jack this post, but, in trying to wrap my head around this process, what are you guys doing for the egr low pressure innlet side?
after watching;

I have a better understanding of what needs to be done. So, the profidiesel kit doesnt seem to have a blanking option for the turbo low pres side?

The Darkside has a silicone cap, I assume its for capping the lp inlet side on the turbo?
BuzzKen has a Plug for EGR vacuum inlet, but i dont like the sound of that.
I guess welding a plate to the turbo would be best.

I have a separate EGR delete kit that I've purchased and I'm piecing together the remaining pieces to entirely remove the EGR cooler.

My plan for delete was to leave the egr cooler and just use a block off plate, but since my turbo went out. I am planning to remove it and the new turbo also have the high side egr deleted as well.

Now if I can get time to do it all

Hey guys,
I will be doing a delete myself soon as my nox sensor went and it costs 600 to buy.
My intent is to gut the dpf and leave the rest of the system untouched. I see there is a lot of comments about the EGR, but i had found a way to code with VCDS to whatever % you desire. Wouldn't that be enough to disable the EGR?

That does not work on the newer CRs.

after thinking about it, i think ill do the same, cause there is no real issue leaving the cooler there right ? blank the lower that goes to the dpf, keeping the pipe that goes to the turbo, reroute the coolant ?

You don't even have to reroute the coolant, unless your EGR cooler is leaking or you want to take it out of the equation.

its not leaking, but i think id rather by-pass it incase it wants to start leaking, cause coolant could get sucked into the turbo eventually if it were to fill up?

Yep that is all you need, a blank plate and a 3/4" barb hose fitting.

@freewayross Any update on your end? I'm in a super odd situation since I moved in the meantime of waiting on arrival, so I'm in semi-panic mode. Just scanned the car and I'm now running nox cat efficiency and reductant metering module intermittent codes consistently again. I used to clear them and see how long they'd take, usually 6 months. Now it's less than one. DPF is at 60g ash mass out of 70g... My time is running out and I'm really hoping this pipe shows up soon.

I have 131k miles and projected to hit in 70g in about 167k miles.

DPF is at 60g ash mass out of 70g..
Where did the 70g number come from?
When I changed my DPF at 300k miles it had 98g and was still running fine, doing a regen every 200 miles.

In VCDS under "Advanced Measuring" you can monitor soot load values (to see when a regen is coming up) and see the "Ash Load Limit," which in my car, also says 70gm as the limit. I took this to mean that DPF will be fully plugged up at that time and require replacement. You give me hope I may be wrong, and that my DPF could last longer.

My dpf is regening roughly 200-250mi where it is currently. And yes, as above, the ash load limit per VCDS.

Just a quick update: Still have not yet received the pipes from ProFi. Note to self, don't select economy shipping.... hah. I wish I had known it didn't have tracking. If anyone has recently ordered from there with eco shipping and received their order, lemme know how long it took.
