Well here is the first pic I took. Next time I'll pick some better scenery.

Now I have my Alpine deck / changer in the car, 1000 times better than the Monsoon system. My Rockford subs and amp go in soon. More pics to follow.

My new TDI has the Monsoon Sound System as well. Out of curiousity, can you really tell a difference between a stock VW radio and one with the Monsoon System?

Steve,

I ditched the Monsoon tape deck, and installed my Alpine Deck and Changer. Great Fit and much better, but louder. Bass is realy good and after having subs and $2000+ stereo for 10 years, I may leave it at that.

But I have a brand new 600a4 Rockford crying for me, so who knows, maybe just ditch the Monsoon amp and keep the stock Monsoon speakers.

The best part of the Monsoon system is the speakers, I'm really impressed by the clarity.
