- 98 Jetta TDI AHU 1.9L (944 TDI swap in progress) I moved so now i got nothing but an AHU in a garage on a pallet.
Yes. They are easy to make and work very well for a hack to get more boost. As long as your tune will alow the boost to not trigger limp mode.... do ot. $5 to make them with common hand tools.

The tube in the bottom below the thumb screw goes into the boost side of the intake tract, and the tube on the side goes into the vacuum line that is connected to the turbo.
Get a tee and install it into the vacuum line going to the turbo, and put the hose from the Dawe's device onto the remaining connector. They do take quite a bit of testing in the beginning, and after that set-it-and-forget-it.
