Cylinder 2 misfire.

Hi, just wondering if anyone has resolved and had a similar problem of a golf 1.9 tdi 130 rough idling from cold and putting the traction light on. “Yep the traction light” no management lights at all!!
however if you let it get warm turn it off and back on its absolutely perfect no light and runs as new....
Code read is electrical fault to cylinder 2.

my guess is a broken wire or dodgy plug connection to the injector.
has Anyone had similar??

Sounds to me the OP has a PD car...yes, my 2004 BEW (MK4 PD) does signal some issues with a flashing traction light.

Exactly which code (not just the name) are you getting? There aren't many sensors in the MK4 compared to the now myriad of sensors in the MK7 and up (cylinder compression sensors, rail pressure... etc).

Perhaps you are right and you need a new injector harness, luckily those are not to expensive nor hard to change out.
