Gen X?

Do you realize the first year for Gen X is 1965? On the top end they are 59 years old.

They would have been commonly driving manual shift cars in high school just like boomers.
Maybe it was the next one up whatever the hell that one is? Gen -Freako ? Maybe that's the one now. You know the ones with the purple and green hair and nose rings their whole face tattooed and wonder why they cant get a job ?

Well thanks for the overwhelming feedback so much so I just figured it out myself, (just kidding) and thanks to Prairie Poo. who is truly a motivational inspiration!
The chirp I was hearing was a loose caliper on the front left rotor. So whenever I hit a reflector on the road or a bump a certain way it banged on the top of the rotor. This was the noise I was hearing which made me think it was CV axles. This was completely unrelated to the CV axles.
While this was going I was hearing a rotational noise from the passenger side axle . It got to the point the noise was so abrasive I just parked the car.
I bought GKN axles . When the Cv axles were removed from the car the bearings were shot on both axles. Just in time.
Looks like the driver side was the original VW oem part . The passenger side looked like an after market with a solid axle . The new GKN axle passenger has a larger diameter hollow axle.
Anyways its all back together and I hope weve all learned a valuable lesson here.

My Beetle does this but with things like potholes. I figured it was the caliper bouncing as it doesn't do it with any amount of braking.

So was there something you tightened up? I don't think there's anything that can be done for this.

The top bolt on the caliper was completely unscrewed, it was just laying in the hole. My drive to work is one big pothole. Not much I can do about that, except switch jobs, haha

Potholes in Texas? Is that from people pulling up plants?

Well after my mechanic Jackson put the CV axles in , well I call him Action Jackson , He calls himself General Lee and something about the metal plate in his head that makes him forget what day it is. Anyways after the install we took it down the highway for a test drive . Everything seemed to be okay except when he was trying to pop a beer cap off with my door handle. Anyways I drove the car 500 mile that week with no issues , so i feel pretty good about that. Parts and labor 800.00 bucks I had to put my butt plate on for that one. But I did buy the GKN CV axles
