CV Joint inquiry

Main Question: I have a 2013 JSW 6sp manual with my car in neutral and front wheel off the gound. Should my inner CV axel emmit a clicking sound when rocking the wheel forward and back rapidly? Both make the click noise. Also when I am driving and I roll on the throttle and let off and repeat there is an audible click from either my inner cv joint or transmission. Then the wobble follows between about 40 and 60mph from my foot/seat area.

Back story if you want to read it:
So I am working through a wobble on my 2013 VW JSW I just purchased a month and a half and 3200mi ago. And I've had a wobble since purchase at it's most noticable between 43 and 54 mph from the floor by my feet/seat area. Pretty constant even in turns It's slightly less on a right turn. I feel it outside the range occasionally. But I had my wheels balanced about 1000mi ago. Then I checked all the brakes and lubricated everything and that wasn't the problem. Brakes all work fine w/no sticking. So now I'm stuck. I'm thinking I either have 2 bad CV axels (answer to question above will tell) or a bad wheel bearing maybe. But there is no hum, no rapid clicking when turned all the way over either. Just the clicking w/throttle change (I assume as the CV shaft loads and unloads) and vibration at speed.

Have you checked your inner and outer tie rods?

Maybe you can find someone who will let you run it on a set of rollers like a dynamometer.

I checked them when I took my front wheels off to clean and lubricate my brakes and and check them to see if they are sticking. But the boots look almost new., I didn't look further because that is usually a good sign I mean I only have 57,000 mi on the car, But it also sat waiting for the VW fix For who knows how long. Now that being said they definitely emmit a clicking sound. Can't be the transmission when the car is in neutral. And I've been noticing an occasional slight delay in application of power after willing y of the throttle.

On my 2011 Jetta Sportwagon, I got the clicking on every right turn. So, changed right front axle (the longer one). Still got the clicking so, in for a penny, in for a dollar & changed left axle, (the shorter one). No more clicking. Apparently the longer axle cv joint doesn't see the sharp angles that the short axle cv joint does. Not sure if sales records of right & left axles confirm more purchases of short axles.

There is always a noise when rocking wheel front back, it is connected to the differential. But there should be little play. Also banging noise when letting off throttle and then again flooring it could be due to worn inner joints or a worn differential. Also if it vibrates when driving it is a inner cv.
Question: in America do you just buy the entire axle shaft or do you replace cv joints? Because in this region we only change axles if they are bent.

Here is a visual representation that hopefully helps understand that being in neutral doesn't really matter when there is play in diff. Hopefully that's not the case for you.
