Curious about these low mileage TDI's.

From time to time I like to look at what TDI's are out there for sale. I came across these two, one with 170 miles and the other with 145 miles. Both Reflex Silver with the tech package, one auto and one 6-speed. Also, check out the VIN numbers. Were these two some sort of test bed for the manufacturer?

These have the BI-Xenon headlights which were only available on the tech package. The tech package was discontinued for the 2014 MY.

These both have a build date of 6/13. I assume these were some of the last cars with the tech package.

Yes, but sold as 2014 MY cars. The VW literature for the 2014 Golf has the tech package discontinued.

These were the cars that were held back for emissions testing during and after “the fix”. The EPA no longer needed them do they went to auction just recently.
